What makes ROXON multitools different from other brands?

What is a modular multitool?

A modular multitool is a customizable platform that allows you to swap or add different implements—such as blades, pliers, screwdrivers, and specialty tools. Roxon’s FLEX system and Phantom Blade System are built around this modular concept, giving you full control over your multitool’s setup.

What is the ROXON Flex System?

The Flex System is our fully modular multitool platform. You can swap blades, add or remove tools, and build a setup tailored to your needs - ideal for cycling, fishing, or EDC kits.

What is the ROXON Phantom System?

The Roxon Modular Blade (Phantom) System allows you to easily change blades using a quick-release mechanism - no tools required. It supports 17 interchangeable blade types and works across multiple Roxon tools for unmatched flexibility.

What’s the difference between the FLEX System and Phantom System?

The FLEX Modular System is designed for full multitool customization, allowing users to swap in both long and short implements like pliers, saws, knives, and fire starters. In contrast, the Phantom Blade System focuses on fast blade switching. FLEX supports broad customization across tool types, while Phantom is ideal for users who want precision cutting flexibility.

Are all ROXON multitools customizable?

Not all. Tools under the Flex and Phantom Systems are customizable. Others, like the KS2E or M4, feature pre-installed fixed toolsets and are not modular.

Can I change blades and tools myself?

Yes. All modular Roxon multitools are designed for easy tool swaps without special equipment. Use the built-in slide-and-lock or slot system to change implements in seconds.

Product Details & Compatibility

Can I use Flex implements with Phantom system?

No, Flex and Phantom systems are not cross-compatible. Each uses a unique design and locking mechanism to ensure safety and precision. However, the Flex Shears is the only tool designed to work across both systems - featuring a hybrid build that accepts short Flex implements and is compatible with Phantom-style blades like the Interchange Knife and Knife Scissors.

What materials are used in ROXON tools?

Our multitools use premium materials such as D2 steel, 1.4116, 8Cr13MoV, 3Cr13, G10 handles, and ABS composites for strength and lightweight comfort, and S35VN, D2, 12C27 for folding knives.

Are ROXON multitools TSA-compliant?

What are your most popular implements?

What warranty do you offer on ROXON products?

We stand behind the quality of our products. All multitools come with a 25-year warranty, covering material and workmanship defects under normal use. Implements and BBQ tools include a 2-year warranty. If you experience any issues, our customer service team is here to help resolve them quickly.

Orders, Shipping & Returns

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, we only ship within the U.S., with most orders arriving in 3–5 business days. For international customers, our products are available through Amazon and AliExpress.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unused products in their original packaging. Please contact us at sales@roxontool.com for assistance.

What if my tool is defective or damaged?

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If you receive a defective product, reach out with photos and your order number - we’ll make it right.
