My first impression

From the moment you unpack it, the Roxon FLEX Modular Multi-Tool makes a high-quality impression. The rounded edges ensure the tool sits comfortably in your hand —nothing presses, bothers, or feels cheap.

The weight is noticeable, but not annoying—quite the opposite: It underscores the quality and robust workmanship. I was particularly impressed by the well-thought-out construction, with nothing wobbling or poorly crafted.

Another plus point: the included carrying case is made of sturdy nylon, which, thanks to the belt loop, is ideal for travel. The 25-year manufacturer's warranty also testifies to the company's confidence in its quality.

I was curious to see how the Roxon FLEX would perform in practice, and whether it really is as flexible and versatile as it promises.

Your multitool, your rules

The flexibility begins with the purchase: You decide which tools you need. On the official website, you can choose from a wide variety of modules – from tools for outdoor adventures to specialized tools for anglers or cyclists. In my opinion, this is one of the best features of the Roxon FLEX and one of the reasons why I chose this tool.

Practical test

How does the Roxon FLEX perform in use?

I've taken the Roxon FLEX with me on several trips, and it has never disappointed me. I'd like to highlight the following tools and situations :

  • Pliers: Fits comfortably in the hand, allowing for a firm grip even with hard materials. The front section is serrated, tapering towards the tip. This is ideal for precise work. The middle section of the pliers is suitable for loosening nuts, etc. It is also serrated. Below this is the cutting section, whose blades are replaceable when they become blunt.

  • Knife: Razor-sharp, cut through rope with ease, and performed well when carving. Also perfectly suitable for small tasks at home, such as opening packages or cutting rope, in the EDC category.

  • Saw: In our tests, it proved to be very effective and, above all, sharp. The teeth grip the wood securely and allow the saw to cut quickly through branches. I used it in the hunting area to remove branches in front of a tree stand that were restricting access.

  • Philips screwdriver : Sturdy,  precise  , and a real helper for quick repairs . I was able to tighten a loose screw on my fishing reel with it and didn't have to cut my fishing trip short.

My conclusion

The flexible future of multitools

ROXON FLEX Modular vs. traditional multitool – tool comparison layout

The Roxon FLEX is more than just another multi-tool—it's a small revolution in terms of adaptability and quality. Its modular design lets you decide what you need. Robust construction, sophisticated safety mechanisms, and great handling make it a viable alternative to classics like Leatherman and the like. A clear recommendation from Fang-Fieber!
